Blue Supergiant

A massive, very hot star (surface temperatures of 10,000-50,000 K) with luminosities tens of thousands to a million times the Sun's. Compact compared to red supergiants but vastly more energetic, driving fierce stellar winds. Rigel and Deneb are well-known examples. End as supernovae or evolve through other supergiant phases first.
