A peculiar lenticular galaxy ~13 million light-years away, the closest powerful active galactic nucleus to Earth. Likely the result of a recent merger between an elliptical and a spiral galaxy, evident in its prominent dust lane. Hosts a massive central black hole driving radio jets.
