Centaurus Cluster

Abell 3526, a moderately rich cluster ~125 million light-years away in the southern constellation Centaurus. The cluster has two distinct subgroups merging together, with the central giant elliptical NGC 4696 anchoring the main concentration. Part of the Hydra-Centaurus Supercluster flowing toward the Great Attractor.
