Itokawa

A small (~330 m) S-type near-Earth asteroid visited by JAXA's Hayabusa mission, which returned the first samples ever collected from an asteroid in 2010. The "rubble pile" structure revealed by close-up imaging reshaped views of small-asteroid evolution.
