Peony Star

WR 102ka — a Wolf-Rayet star near the Galactic Center, surrounded by the Peony Nebula it sculpted with its strong stellar wind. Among the most luminous stars in the Milky Way (~3 million L☉). Heavily obscured at visible wavelengths.
