Sedna

A reddish trans-Neptunian object on one of the most distant known orbits in the Solar System. Sedna takes about 11,000 years to orbit the Sun and never comes close enough to Neptune for that planet to explain its path. It may preserve clues to the Solar System's earliest stellar neighborhood.
