Tesla Roadster

The dummy payload of the first Falcon Heavy test flight, launched on February 6, 2018: a cherry-red Tesla Roadster with a spacesuited mannequin nicknamed Starman at the wheel, still bolted to the rocket's upper stage. A final burn put it on a heliocentric orbit that reaches from just inside Earth's orbit out past Mars, which it now circles every 557 days.
