Trappist 1
An ultra-cool red dwarf 40 light-years away in Aquarius, barely larger than Jupiter, hosting seven known Earth-sized rocky planets — the largest such family discovered around one star. All seven orbit closer in than Mercury does the Sun, locked in a resonant chain, and three or four receive stellar energy comparable to Earth's, making them prime targets in the search for habitable worlds.
